Yes, Luffa is a vegetable that is easy to grow. The Loofah is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines in the cucumber family Cucurbitaceae. Cultivated mostly in Orient. Growing loofah in the garden takes time, it can be over 120 days until the gourds are harvested. luffas are usually grown for loofah sponges so the fruits are allowed to mature on the vine until they turn yellow or brownish, and then peeled to reveal the matrix of tough fibrous tissues inside that act as wonderful natural sponges.
