How To Extract And Plant Luffa Seeds

T(caps)o obtain good plant stands, luffa gourds should be produced from transplants. Soak the seed in water for 24 hours prior to seeding. They will germinate four or five days later if you're in a hot climate, or up to seven days later in a cooler one. Grow the seedlings in a tray or pot until they're a reasonable size, then transplant them to the garden.
